Sally Hansen Salon Effects Teal With It

So I finally got around to trying the Salon effects nail polish strips.  I have always wanted to try it but the price (around $10 for one time use) dissuaded me, I found this color on sale and scooped it up.  It wasn't easy to do as I had imagine, I had ruined several strips in the process.  But I made do and liked the results.   I might pick up the animal prints and glitter but only if they were on sale.  I didn't like the process too much and feel the cost outweighs the benefits.  This color is awesome though, wish they made it in nail polish form.  This did not last more than a couple of days on me and I took it off the 2nd day.

tip- taking the sting out of makeup wipes

When I use makeup wipes, no matter the brand, my eyes always sting.  It might be the ingredients mixed with my super sensitive eyes but I always get a certain degree of burn. 

I love the convenience of makeup wipes, sometimes using it as my only means of cleaning my face for the night and it's great for traveling.  I have used all brands (costco, avon, dollar store, etc.)  My newest one is Costco brand which gets decent reviews all around.  They are pretty good but still sting. 

My method for getting rid of the burn is so simple, I'm sure a lot of you have done this.  All I do is ring out the wipe, that's it, voila!  I just wrap my hand around the wipe and squeezeee.  I can't believe I never thought to do this before but it has cut out the stinginess that comes when I put the wipe anywhere near my eye.  And it's amazing how much wetness is on the wipe (for obvious reasons) but I get my makeup off the same.
